He is a member of the board of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA) and Vice-Chair of the Arbitration Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA).
R. DOAK BISHOP is a Partner in King & Spalding’s Houston office and Chair of the Firm’s International Arbitration Practice Group. He is Vice-Chair of the Institute of Transnational Arbitration. He is the former Co-chair of the Internationa Litigation Committee of the ABA's Litigation Section.
STEPHEN R. BOND is a Partner at White & Case’s Paris office and is global co-head of the international arbitration practice group. He previously served as Secretary General of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) from 1985-1991 and the U.S. Member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration (1994-1999). He was Vice Chairman of the ICC Working Group charged with drafting the 1998 ICC Rules of Arbitration.
ROBERT BRINER is the immediate past President of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and former President of the International Court of Justice and the Iran United States Claims Tribunal. Mr. Briner is currently also Of Counsel with Lenz & Staehelin in Geneva.
JAMES H. CARTER is a Partner in the New York office of Sullivan & Cromwell LLP and coordinator of its international arbitration practice. He was President of the American Society of International Law from 2004 to 2006, is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the American Arbitration Association and has chaired its Arbitration Law Committee.
WILLIAM LAURENCE CRAIG is senior counsel in Orrick's Paris office, and a member of the International Arbitration Group. He is a Fellow and Chartered Arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and was awarded a Trophee du Droit in 2005.
PROFESSOR FILIP DE LY is Professor of private international law and comparative law at the Law Faculty of the Erasmus University Rotterdam. He is a member of the LCIA Court and is the Chair of the International Commercial Arbitration Committee of the International Law Association and is frequently retained as arbitrator or legal expert.
THOMAS DOYLE is a Partner in the Chicago office of Baker & McKenzie. He is the Chair of the North American Litigation Practice Group for the firm.
SARAH FRANÇOIS-PONCET is a partner in the Paris office and the chair of the international arbitration practice group of Salans. She has been involved in dozens of arbitrations over the past twenty years, both as counsel and as arbitrator. She was a Member of the ICC Commission on International Arbitration (1991-2005).
DANA H. FREYER is a Partner in Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP in the New York office. She heads Skadden’s Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution practices and is a member of the firm’s International Arbitration Group.
JUDITH GILL is a Partner in Allen & Overy’s London office specializing in international commercial arbitration, with extensive experience in both institutional and ad hoc arbitration. SALLY HARPOLE is a Solicitor, Attorney and Chartered Arbitrator based in Hong Kong. She is Senior Vice-Chair of the Arbitration Committee of the IBA.
PROFESSOR PIERRE LALIVE is Senior Partner at LALIVE in Geneva, Professor Emeritus of the University of Geneva, and formerly the Dean of the Geneva Faculty of Law. He is the Founder and Editor of ASA Bulletin as well as Honorary President of ASA.
PROFESSOR ANDREAS LOWENFELD is Herbert and Rose Rubin Professor of International Law at New York University School of Law. Professor Lowenfeld is an elected member of the Institut de Droit International and of the International Academy of Comparative Law, and has twice been a Lecturer at The Hague Academy of International Law.
LAWRENCE W. NEWMAN is a Partner in the litigation department of the New York office of Baker & McKenzie. He is the author and co-author of several works on international arbitration and litigation.
DAVID PLANT is former Senior Partner with Fish & Neave in New York. Mr. Plant is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and was Chair of various professional committees and organizations, including Chair of the ADR Committee of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
DANIEL M. PRICE is a partner in Sidley Austin LLP’s Washington, D.C. office and chairs the firm’s International Trade and Dispute Resolution group. Mr. Price was appointed by President Bush to serve on ICSID’s Panel of Arbitrators. He is former principal deputy general counsel for the Office of the US Trade Representative (USTR) and was lead negotiator on investment issues relating to the NAFTA.
